Celebrating 5 Years of Excellence! Margaret Considine, President AIBF, and Elaine Carroll, CEO AIBF, proudly present Alan Dawson from Sheds Direct Ireland with their well-deserved 5 In A Row Business All-Star Accreditation Jersey at Croke Park.
Finglas based Sheds Direct Ireland has achieved their fifth consecutive Business All-Star Accreditation.
Sheds Direct Ireland was born in 2008 when founder Alan Dawson spotted a gap in the market while shopping for a garden shed.
Disappointed after waiting 20 weeks for a shed to arrive at his Dublin home, Alan knew he could provide an affordable, efficient alternative for others in the same boat.
Today, Sheds Direct is home to Ireland’s most affordable high-quality garden sheds including steel sheds, wooden sheds and a variety of garden equipment. The company has thrived on eCommerce and its digital endeavours has led to the All-Ireland Business Summit where Sheds Direct has been recognised on the national stage.
Sheds Direct’s landmark fifth consecutive Business All-Star Accreditation and has been achieved thanks to the company’s outstanding contribution to quality and standards in online e-tailing and for its team’s outstanding conduct in the areas of trust performance and customer centricity.
Speaking at a special ceremony held at The All-Ireland Business Summit in Croke Park on May 10th, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring said:

Sheds Direct Ireland is hereby included in the AIBF register of irish business excellence for the fifth consecutive year.
Reacting to the news of her company’s achievement, Sheds Direct Irelan Director Louise Dawson said:
I am so proud to be part of the All-Ireland Business Summit and prouder still to accept Sheds Direct’s fifth consecutive Business All-Star Accreditation on behalf of our team. It’s a huge honour to serve a fantastic and loyal customer base and I am immensely proud to do so with the backing of an immensely talented team. On behalf of the Sheds Direct family I would like to thank the All-Ireland Business Foundation for the wonderful recognition. We are delighted to be part of the Business All-Stars TRIBE.
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said: The accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.
