About Helen Shivers, Managing Director
Helen began her business journey in a hayshed in Co Derry where she worked alongside her husband Charlie on his plumbing business. As their business grew the pair took a chance on a large derelict site near Toome in Co Monaghan, snapping it up at auction for £140,000. Alongside Charlie and her four children, Helen has grown the site into Shivers Business Park which is now home to more than thirty-two businesses and 300 people.
The park boasts a prime location in the center of Mid Ulster on a motorway that connects Belfast with Derry – Northern Ireland’s largest cities offering commercial property units of all shapes and sizes to suit retail outlets, office spaces and light industry.
