This is our third Accreditation in a row and we are incredibly proud. Childcare has had a difficult time, particularly during COVID-19 so this is a great boost for ourselves and our team. The accolade proves that we are consistent with our standards despite what is happening in the outside world and we constantly strive to improve each year.
I founded the business during a hard time. I was evicted from my home and had to start the business while being a single mum. I also have dyslexia. The Accreditation means so much to me as it has proven to me that no one should ever give up on their dreams.
About Ray of Sunshine After School Services
Ray of Sunshine Morning and After School Services is an award-winning childcare service for primary school children from the age of four to twelve years-old.
Ray of Sunshine was founded in 2015 by Amanda Spiteri, who at the time struggled to find an affordable childcare solution while commuting to Dublin for her work. Amanda understood the need for childcare which was both, affordable and flexible.
Having an onsite child-care facility within the school environment which operates on an ad-hoc basis has opened up so many opportunities for parents and carers who are working or studying, which were not easily available before.
