This is our second Business All-Star Accreditation and it comes in recognition of our commitment to our community.
We are proud to be an All-Star company and this latest achievement underlines our dedication to excellence in all that we do.

We are delighted to accept the Best In Class, Business All-Star Accreditation on behalf of our wonderful team of Early Years Educators, children and families. As a responsive service, our team are mindful of the holistic needs of the children and families engaging with our facility. From initial enquiry stage right through to enrolment of children with us and ongoing while attending our service. The needs of children and families are paramount, with the best interest of the child at the heart of all we do. We are innovative in our approach to the challenges of Covid 19 for new and existing families.
To build trust and make parents feel safe and comfortable sending their children to us, in the pandemic, we continually develop techniques to foster and build positive relationships such as socially distanced walk throughs of our environment and developing restful parent areas on our grounds. The key to our success is our wonderful team and our evolving practice in the quest for quality! We are honoured to be amongst the revered Business All-Star Accreditation Tribe and look forward to future collaborations.

Mounthawk Montessori School & Busy Bees Nursery & After-School Centre has grown from a potential dream in 1999 to a tangible and respected business in the local community in 2021. Our motto is ‘Quirke’s for Quality!’, highlighting the commitment of a local family to serve our local community.
Our brand is recognisable and is linked to growth and innovation. With our finger on the pulse of the local economy and local community, we embrace opportunities to grow and expand our business by diversifying to meet the evolving needs within the field of Early Years and School Age Childcare Sector.
From humble beginnings, our seed business grew from a home base to our first purpose-built facility in 2000. In 2003, our sister service at Maureen’s Childcare Centre was launched. In 2006, our permanent state of the art home, with indoor and outdoor classrooms, was developed at The Mounthawk Roundabout, Clogherbrien, Tralee. Located on a half-acre site, we embrace the culture of the Forest Kindergartens in our natural outdoor learning and science areas, within our high-quality Aistear/Montessori Curriculum. Our Awards to date include; Better World Awards, Alive Awards, Healthy Ireland Smart Start Awards & Overall Kerry Woman in Business Award for Innovation in Practice.
