As one who keeps a low profile, I felt honoured when Kieran rang me to advise me that AIBF had made the decision to bestow on both me personally and my company the Lifetime Achievement Accreditation. When I looked back at the roll of inductees who have preceded me, I was humbled to be in the company of so many esteemed captains of Irish industry. In accepting this accolade, I accept it on behalf of myself and my team.
Covid has proved difficult for those involved in the Construction Industry but for me the last 12 months has shown that I have a great team around me who are always willing to go that extra mile if needed. This honour also rewards our loyal customers and clients who have had faith in KCC and stayed loyal to us and their support has enabled us to grow into the professional, cutting edge service company that we are today.

It means a great deal to everyone at KCC Group to have achieved the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s highest honour, the Award of Excellence. The award is in recognition of our hard work and dedication within the industry.
It is fulfilling to be recognised and we are very thankful to all of our employees who have worked hard in helping us to achieve this award, something we are very proud of being associated with.
About Chris Kilpatrick, Managing Director
Chris Kilpatrick originally qualified as a quantity surveyor and worked in the Construction Industry in both Ireland and Saudi Arabia. On his return to Ireland in 1986 he was appointed general manager of Laidlaws, an architectural ironmongery company. In 1990 he was appointed Regional Director for both Scotland and Ireland.
In 1998 he led a management buyout of the Irish operation and formed KCC Architectural. The company has expanded over the last number of years and has offices in Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Dubai. KCC currently employs 150 staff.
