Go Fly Your Kite - Business All-Star Accreditation
Go Fly Your Kite have successfully navigated 3 rounds of auditing which proved their performance, trust and customer-centricity.
The auditing process has left us in no doubt as to Go Fly Your Kite’s suitability for Business All-Star accreditation and their inclusion in The Register of Irish Business Excellence (TRIBE).

Message from Glenn Heasley - Managing Director, Go Fly Your Kite
We are thrilled to achieve Business All-Star Accreditation. The process has been an opportunity to look back at the last 5 years of running Go Fly Your Kite and to look at our achievements and the exciting plans we have for the future. A time to reflect on the amazing growth we have had, how communities in the educational, caring and science sectors have fully embraced the Go Fly Your Kite concept and the joy it has brought to so many people and our amazing staff.
As we move forward we carry with us the need to continue to exceed our customers’ expectations and those of Business All-Star to ensure we continue to deliver a second to none performance, continued trust and put our customers at the centre of everything we do now and in the future.
About Go Fly Your Kite
Go Fly Your Kite was created when owner Glenn Heasley bought his son, aged 4, a kite. As he was leaving the shop he said: “Dad wouldn’t it be great if I could draw on this kite?” Go Fly Your Kite was born. We developed STEM kite workshops that involve flight, design, construction and exercise promoting well being to children in primary and post-primary schools.
The workshops promote positivity, self-esteem, fun through learning with a “can do” approach. Our workshops are aimed at science clubs, festivals, and birthday parties. We also run adult kite design workshops for corporate groups, birthday parties, Alzheimer & dementia groups. We deliver workshops to over 25,000 participants a year.
The concept is based around the kite. As the material diamond kite is blank we can theme any workshop to suit any topic. Graphics are chosen by each participant and traced onto the kite and colored in using the waterproof link. The kites are then constructed and flown at the end of each workshop. Our online shop delivers our “kite in a box concept” to all corners of the globe.
