The accreditation process gave us the opportunity to reflect on our brand story, achievements, growth strategy and in our overall mission to ensure social impact is felt, not simply dreamt.
Receiving this award, offered us key insights from the judging panel, our employees, customers and suppliers. The feedback gives us confidence that for both customers and those we collaborate with, we are delivering significant value beyond our size.

About Community Finance Ireland
Our Business was established in 1995, in Belfast Northern Ireland. We quickly expanded across the island of Ireland and today our diverse portfolio of customers reach from Bantry to Ballintrae, and from Dublin to Dingle.
We collaborate, with capital providers, to deliver social finance solutions that help local community projects and drive social impact. These capital collaborations include Social Finance Foundation, the Building Better Futures fund plus, The Northern Ireland Small Business Loan Fund, to name a few. We are included as a key enabler of the success of the National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland; issued by the Department of Rural and Community Development in 2019.
Our unique insights and expertise in the Not-for-Profit sector have seen us grow a very diverse customer portfolio that includes; sports, community projects, social housing, faith based groups, and social enterprises.
Our mission is to ensure social impact is felt, not simply dreamt, and today we are well on our way to supporting this ambition. With net assets of €18.5 million, our latest annual report highlights 100 organisations, across the island of Ireland, have been approved finance to the sum of €12.8 million.
We are currently the only Irish and UK member of the European Ethical Banking group “FEBEA” and proud to learn from our colleagues on best thinking for innovative social finance solutions.
