The All-Ireland Business Foundation has honoured The Wild Food Lab By April Dannan with a One to Watch Accreditation.

This is an outstanding achievement for April Dannan, which recognises that she meets the highest standards of verified performance, trust and customer-centricity.

This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

My first thoughts about the entire process is evolution. Going from Thought Leader to One to Watch reveals the process of taking your dreams and creating them in the business world. I am excited to offer my customers something new and timely as well as to meet new ones with current needs being met, says April Danann.

Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.

April Danann is Founder of The Wild Food Lab. She is a Medical Intuitive, Naturopathic Nutritionist and Practitioner of Herbal Medicine with a focus on gut health and has many years of experience. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Food Management and Marketing, MSc in Nutrition and Exercise Science as well as diplomas in Nutrition, Medical Intuition and Food Packaging Technology.

She has developed her own wild fermentation SCOBYs, mothers and starters. She produces some of the cleanest, barrel-fermented Apple Cider Vinegar and Herbal Kombucha available and manages to grow, forage and seek out the natural everywhere she goes. April is a food influencer, creating new trends in healthy sustainable living as part of her clinical practice in Herbal Medicine and Naturopathic Nutrition.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
