Doon entrepreneur Ned O’Dwyer has been named Limerick Business Person of The Year 2023 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
As the founder and CEO of O’Dwyer Safety Services, Ned has been a driving force in promoting workplace safety throughout his home county of Limerick and throughout Ireland.
Under his guidance, O’Dwyer Safety Services has consistently set new industry standards, in providing essential safety training, consultancy, and equipment to businesses across various sectors.
The AIBF Limerick Business Person of The Year 2023 accolade serves as a testament to Mr. O’Dwyer’s leadership and the positive impact of O’Dwyer Safety Services on safety standards nationwide.
It highlights his visionary approach, which has positioned the company as an industry leader in safety services.

Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said: The accreditation, which is now held by over 650 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.
