Mr. Crumb is a multi-award winning artisan food producer located in the small rural village of Finea, County Westmeath (population 70) in the luscious green Lakelands of Ireland. Their family-run business was founded in 1996 and is famous for its international award-winning Stuffing, Breadcrumb & Flavoured Butters. They continue to innovate & have launched their new range of Cook & Serve in Pack, Hot Food To Go Snacks under the name “Invisible Chef” which provides a cost effective food solution for deskilled food businesses re-opening post Covid.

The Team at Mr. Crumb are delighted to be recognised for our Innovation with the new Invisible Chef range for foodservice, our environmental initiatives and our contribution to local Business Life in rural Ireland, says Jason Coyle, Director of Mr. Crumb.

Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement: “This certificate verifies that Mr. Crumb has been named All-Star Westmeath Business Of The Year 2021. The Accreditation is in recognition of Mr. Crumb’s outstanding contribution to the business life of County Westmeath. Mr. Crumb is an Irish family business and is engaged in manufacture and distribution of quality Irish foods. Furthermore, we wish to recognise Mr. Crumb’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer-centricity. Mr. Crumb is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence.”

Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
