The All-Ireland Business Foundation has accredited Magic Years Limited with a Business All-Star Accreditation on their 20th Anniversary.
Business All-Star accredited companies are defined as; progressive, indigenous Irish businesses which meet the highest standards of verified performance, trust and customer-centricity.
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
“Firstly, It is a great honour to achieve this Accreditation, which touches on the big milestone for us of 20 years in business. Magic Years Ltd is the longest running childcare service in our community and this would not have been possible without our dedicated team who work hard to provide a best in class service to all families using our service. Presently, we as a team consider ourselves and the whole of the child care sector to be frontline workers and work as many hours as we possibly can to promote a safer environment for all our stakeholders. I believe that everyone is born with tremendous capacities for creativity and the team at Magic Years Ltd is an example of this, says Brenda Hanley, Owner of Magic Years.”
She continues: “We are highly dedicated and committed in our work as Early Years professionals and pride ourselves on the high-quality learning practice and environment which we provide to young children and our community. Accepting the Business All-Stars accolade means that we are gaining recognition for our work in society especially, in the current climate where child care professionals are battling for our government to acknowledge us for what we do, and address this within their policies. This is a step in the right direction to becoming recognised for who we are and what we do.”
Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement: “This certificate verifies that Magic Years Limited has achieved AIBF Business All-Star Accreditation on their 20th Anniversary. We wish to recognise Magic Years in the areas of trust, performance and customer-centricity. Magic Years Limited is hereby included in the AIBF Register of Irish Business Excellence.”
Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.
Magic Years is a bright purpose built Creche/ Preschool located in the heart of Sallins. Magic Years Limited was set up on Monday the 23rd of April 2001. The team is dedicated to providing a best in class service for the many families that avail of their services. Their service accommodates and values each individual family’s needs, which also highlights their inclusive practice and by continuing to practice in this way, they are providing parents as partners and quality continuity of care where the child is further supported.
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
