Data Storage & Management has been named All-Star Limerick Small Business Of The Year 2021 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
This accolade – which is the company’s second in a year – comes in recognition of the DSM team’s hard work and dedication in providing a best in class service to their customers.
Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Responding to today’s announcement Managing Director of Data Storage & Management Wendy Ryan said: We in DSM are all so pleased and honoured to be selected by the All-Ireland Business Foundation for this Accreditation following achieving our third Business All-Star Accreditation in a row just a few months ago. In the past year, and throughout the pandemic our team has worked tirelessly to support our customers, notably those in the healthcare industries and sectors. This Accreditation recognises and supports their incredible efforts during this time. It also reinforces for our customers the ongoing trust that they placed in DSM when they selected us to be their records management & compliance partner.
Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board Kieran Ring, said in support of the announcement: “The Accreditation is in recognition of DSM’s outstanding contribution to the business life of Limerick. Data Storage & Management’s primary business mission is to provide companies with a comprehensive and cost effective records management service in a secure facility. Furthermore, we wish to recognise DSM’s outstanding performance in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer-centricity. Data Storage & Management is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence.”
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.” he said.
Data Storage & Management is a records management company providing a one-stop-shop in terms of services to customers. Along with continuous storage and retrieval services, DSM also offers comprehensive digital services (scanning, secure electronic transfer etc.), shredding services and other customised services to meet individual needs.
They have a team of 11 highly trained and committed professionals, some of whom have been with DSM since it started trading in 1998. They respect and value all of their customers and recognise that without their loyalty and support DSM would not be able to continue to provide a stable and viable business and continue to improve their service.
