KCC Group has achieved the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s highest honour, the Award of Excellence. The award is in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the construction industry.

This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria.

The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

It means a great deal to everyone at KCC Group to have achieved the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s highest honour, the Award of Excellence. The award is in recognition of our hard work and dedication within the industry. It is fulfilling to be recognised and we are very thankful to all of our employees who have worked hard in helping us to achieve this award, something we are very proud of being associated with, says Chris Kilpatrick, Managing Director of KCC Group.

Kieran Ring Deputy Chair of the AIBF Accreditation board said in support of the announcement: “KCC Group proved as a result of our detailed audit, the esteem in which it is held in the Irish construction sector. A true “unsung hero”, the company has methodically built its brand and reputation in a humble professional manner, never losing sight of its customer as its primary driver. KCC Group is outstanding and truly deserving of their Award of Excellence, our highest accolade.”

Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.

KCC Group’s purpose is to help make buildings work. They do this by specifying, producing, installing and maintaining complete door sets, automatics/access control, specialist glazing solutions and service and maintenance, all to help deliver buildings that work and keep working for everyone that uses them.

They help architects to realise their architectural vision. They are trusted by contractors to successfully deliver compliant, on-time, successful solutions and they are relied on by building managers to keep their buildings safe, secure and performing as intended.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
