The Meath based business has gone from strength to strength, achieving a major accolade from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
The Accreditation is an outstanding achievement for Greenheart CBD in recognition of the €4.5 million they raised in funding to develop a blockchain platform for issuing loans and new tech to hemp farmers.
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Greenheart CBD is an Irish owned company with a vision to bring the finest Irish made CBD products from seed to shelf here in our native country. They aim to help farmers to produce the finest organic hemp crops and process through cold press extraction machinery in the most natural way possible. They have spent years researching extraction methods in order to create homogenised cold-press extraction methods to create the most effective CBD products for the end consumer with full traceability from seed to shelf.
Greenheart provides farmers with the equipment and the seeds they need to begin growing hemp for cannabidiol (CBD) products. They provide them with tech such as drones for crop monitoring. Their next step will be launching its Greenheart Punt, their digital token which will be traded on their platform. They plan to raise additional funding by selling the Greenheart Punt to users.
We are so honoured and proud to announce that we were accredited with yet another Business All-Star accolade, this time All-Star Funding Round Of The Year 2021. We can't believe it but we appreciate being recognised for our hard work and dedication. Thanks to all of our Greenheart Family for supporting us and of course a special thanks to the All-Ireland Business Foundation for giving us this Accreditation, says Paul Walsh and Mark Canavan, Co-Founders of Greenheart CBD.
Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement: “This certificate verifies that Greenheart CBD has achieved All-Star Funding Round Of The Year 2021 Accreditation. The Accreditation is in recognition of the company’s outstanding success in its first visit to the capital markets successfully raising $5.3 million. The fund will be used to provide loans to farmers in Ireland and across the world to encourage them to grow hemp for use in cannabidiol (CBD) products. Greenheart CBD Ltd is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence.”
Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
