The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) has accredited Diego Zanella, Founder of Aelia, as a Thought Leader in WOOCommerce Ecommerce.
A thought leader is an informed opinion leader and the go-to person in their field of expertise. They are trusted sources who move and inspire people with innovative ideas; turn ideas into reality, and know and show how to replicate their success.
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Responding to today’s announcement, Diego Zanella says, I am delighted to achieve the Thought Leader Accreditation. After working hard to establish myself as a top player in my industry, this Accreditation is an excellent result for both my business and my clients.
“To me, it represents a recognition of my effort and my results. To my customers, both existing and prospective, it brings peace of mind, as they can immediately see that my trustworthiness, as well as the quality of offer has been assessed by a qualified and impartial authority.”
Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.
Diego Zanella is Founder of Aelia, an ISV (independent software vendor) specialised in web development and consultancy. It is backed by over 22 years’ experience in the field. Aelia currently specialise in the development of solutions, plugins and themes for WordPress, WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.
In 2013, Aelia launched their flagship product, the Currency Switcher for WooCommerce, which currently is the most flexible multi-currency solution for WooCommerce and has received enthusiastic reviews and feedback from all their customers.
A couple of months later, they were asked to develop the same solution for Easy Digital Downloads, so they ported their product to that platform, and, once again, it became the leading multi-currency product.
