Donegal pharmacist Daire Scanlon has been named Business All-Star Pharmacist Of The Year 2023 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
Daire is Managing Director & Owner of Scanlon’s Limitless Health Pharmacies, an award winning community pharmacy group operating across Ireland.
Daire has built his business based on an ethos of care, privacy and respect for his clients and unwavering support and training for his teams and their families. Scanlons are committed to enhancing the quality of life of all their patients through the provision of affordable medication, which has become increasingly expensive in comparison to other European countries in recent years.
Daire has been recognised with his third Business All-Star Accreditation in recognition of his contribution to quality and standards in community pharmacy as well as for his conduct in the areas of performance trust and customer centricity.
Announcing the news of Daire Scanlon’s Achievement, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication board Kieran Ring said:
I am delighted to recognise Daire’s outstanding performance during its audit for Business All-Star Accreditation. The result of the audit resulted in Daire being named Business All-Star Pharmacist Of The Year 2023. AIBF’s Business All-Star accreditation recognises Daire’s contribution to quality and standards in community pharmacy and his conduct in the areas of trust, performance & customer centricity. He is hereby included in the AIBF register of Irish Business Excellence.
Reacting to the news of his Accreditation, Scanlon’s Limitless Pharmacies Founder Daire Scanlon said:
I am proud to accept the title of Business All-Star Pharmacist Of The Year from the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation. I set up my company with the simple mission to enhance quality of life in communities around Ireland and this accreditation shows that my mission is having a meaningful impact. I am supported by a wonderful team of people and I share this accreditation with each and every one of them, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our ethos. I look forward to working closely with the AIBF as we take the next steps as a business.
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna, said : The accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. We believe best-in-class companies should be clearly identifiable so consumers can purchase with confidence.
