Kapil Khanna, MD of AIBF handing Bevin Mahon, Co-Owner of Dental Tech Group her All-Star Accreditation certificate at Croke Park.x
Bevin Mahon, Co-Owner of Dental Tech Group, has been honoured with All-Star Inspiring Business Leader Accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
The Accreditation coincides with International Women’s Day, recognising that Bevin is an inspiring and empowering business leader. Additionally, it is Dental Tech Group’s third All-Star Accreditation, which shows they have maintained their high standards in providing a best in class service to all of their customers.
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
I couldn’t be more proud or privileged to be named All-Star Inspiring Leader 2021 and to have the announcement timed to coincide with International Women’s Day makes this All-Star the brightest of them all. This All-Star is for every one of my amazing team at Dental Tech Group who shine every single day, improving the quality of life of our ageing population, says Bevin Mahon.
Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement: “This certificate verifies that Bevin Mahon has been named All-Star Inspiring Business Leader 2021. The announcement has been timed to coincide with International Women’s Day. The Accreditation is in recognition of Bevin’s outstanding contribution to the healthcare sector & more generally to enterprise in Ireland. Furthermore, we wish to recognise Bevin’s conduct in the areas of Trust, Commitment, Performance & Customer Centricity. Bevin Mahon is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence for a third time.”
Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.
Dental Tech Group work to change the lives of the ageing population of Ireland by providing access to dental and denture solutions so people can eat, chew, speak and socialise with dignity and confidence in the comfort of their own homes and nursing homes. They currently work in more than 100 nursing homes in Dublin and surrounding counties, looking after more than 5000 residents per year. They also educate and train nursing home staff and carers to enhance the quality of life for their residents by providing detailed oral plans for each resident and the necessary skills training for the staff to ensure the daily routine can be carried out, which positively impacts the overall quality of the care for the residents.
