The All-Ireland Business Foundation has honoured Barbara Monahan of CUBE Design with All-Star Brand Design Personality of the Year 2021.

The Accreditation is an outstanding achievement for Barbara Monahan as it recognises her hard work and dedication in providing a best in class service to her customers.

This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

I’m delighted to have achieved a Business All-Star Accreditation for a second year in a row as Brand Design Personality of the Year 2021. The feedback we received from the judging panel was great and all pointed to how we made our business model very customer-centric and how this is a successful approach. Since being accredited last year, we have experienced many benefits from having this seal of approval and we look forward to unlocking more benefits and connecting further with other TRIBE members, says Barbara Monahan.

Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement: “This certificate verifies that Barbara Monahan of CUBE Design has been named Brand Design Personality Of The Year 2021. The Accreditation is in recognition of Barbara’s outstanding contribution to quality and standards in the branding & design sector. Furthermore, we wish to recognise CUBE Design’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance and customer-centricity. CUBE Design is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence for a second successive year.”

Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.

With 32 years of experience, CUBE Design creates impactful brands through the use of brand strategy and the visual expression of the brand. They work with business owners and leaders of growing and changing businesses, those that may be pivoting, changing their audience in some way, or struggling with consistency and messaging in their existing brand. They do this by engaging clients with brand strategy and building up to creating the visual expression of the brand.

Barbara, is a Certified Brand Strategist personally taught by global experts Marty Neumeier and Andy Starr. Barbara has trained a number of times with Marty and Andy, and has brought that wisdom into her practice. Barbara is also a professional member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI) and keeps up to date with trends in the industry through attending regular IDI courses via Design Skillnets, design events, and networking with her peers.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis.
