Terms & Conditions

  • Please be aware that we may update and change any part or all of these event Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. The updated Terms and Conditions will become effective and binding on the next business day after it is posted. We also reserve the right to change the date, agenda or content for the event at our discretion.
  • Participants must arrange adequate travel, personal liability and health insurance prior to the event. Business All-Stars Programme is not responsible for the participant’s hotel booking.
  • Participation in any event organized by Business All-Stars Programme is at the risk of the participant. Business All-Stars Programme will not be responsible for any incident that happens to the participant during the event or while travelling to/from the event; neither is Business All-Stars Programme liable for damage to or loss of the participant’s belongings during the event.
  • All entries must be submitted online.
  • No liability for entries lost or delayed will be accepted. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your online application by email, immediately or within a few hours. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us here.
  • The Business All-Stars Programme are free to enter and open to anyone over the age of 18 provided they represent a business that has an office/base in Ireland. In the case of non-for-profit organisations, they must be a registered charity. Business All-Stars Programme sponsors may not enter the awards.
  • The business can be a sole trader, a private or public limited company, a partnership or limited liability partnership, a business unit within a company or a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Responsibility within the scope of these conditions cannot be accepted for any failure of confidentiality. Entrants will be expected to protect those aspects of their business that may be patentable, registrable or otherwise secret and governed by intellectual property, copyright or similar legislation.
  • The organisers reserve the right to publicise the results of the competition and use winning entries in press releases and publicised case histories. It is a condition of entry that participants will co-operate with the media. Winners may refer to the competition in their own publicity material following approval by the organisers of such material.
  • Business All-Stars Programme is allowed to publish the name, institution, country and position of the participant on a list of participants for its events and share attendees details with event sponsors for marketing purposes. Neither the participant nor the participant’s organization is allowed to distribute materials that promote any organization/activity. The participant needs to contact Business All-Stars Programme personnel (not the helpers) to seek permission, if he/she intends to distribute any material during the event.
  • It is a condition that entrants must declare whether they, or the business they represent, are involved in (or could be involved in) any dispute or judgement that could in any way significantly interfere with the proper conduct of the Business All-Stars Programme.
  • There can be no appeal against the decisions of the judges and these decisions must be accepted as final in respect of all matters concerning Business All-Stars Programme, including the interpretation of the conditions of entry. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • The judges reserve the right to broaden the entry categories if there are insufficient entries in any particular category. They also reserve the right to move applicants from one category to another if they believe it to be appropriate.
  • The organisers reserve the right to change the judging deadlines should circumstances necessitate.
  • Business All-Stars Programme reserves the right to use comments made, or evaluations provided by the participant for the purposes of publicity and promoting its products and services.
  • Business All-Stars Programme reserves the right to hire or contract third parties to co-organize or organize parts of the event. The general terms and conditions of such third parties may also apply to the participants.
  • Apart from the content of these terms and conditions, all information, guidelines, policies and rules as provided on the website concerning events are applicable to the events and to participants in those events.
  • While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the conference elements as informed, Business All-Stars Programme reserves the right to change event dates, location/sites, and dietary options or omit event features, as it deems necessary and in such situations no refunds (full or partial) or alternative offers shall be given to the participant or his/her organization. Business All-Stars Programme also reserves the right to cancel the event, in which case the participant will be notified by email four weeks prior to the event date and the registration fee will be fully refunded; Business All-Stars Programme will not accept liability for any losses and/or damages registered participants may suffer due to event alteration/cancellation.
  • Business All-Stars Programme reserves the right to expel a participant from further participation in an event should Business All-Stars Programme, at its sole discretion, deem the participant’s behaviour inappropriate or offensive to other participants, or to Business All-Stars Programme employees. No refund of the registration fee will be given to a participant who has been expelled from the event.
