A TUAM based company that ‘takes the pen and paper out of stocktaking’ has scooped a national accolade at the Business All-Stars awards.

EasyCount is a technology company that provides software to businesses who want their inventories completed efficiently and quickly – and without ‘the drudgery’ of itemising everything with pen and paper.

The Business All-Stars programme is an annual competition designed to identify, recognise and accredit Irish companies that ‘distinguish themselves’ in business over the previous 12 months.

EasyCount secured their ‘All-Star’ for their technology-based method of counting non-barcoded stock that businesses have on their shelves.

CEO of EasyCount – Abbeyknockmoy resident Patrick McDermott – said that the ‘Rising Star’ accreditation given to EasyCount for 2018-2019 was a great source of pride to the company.

“We look forward to continuing to meet and indeed exceed the standards set by the All-Star programme,” he added.

EasyCount’s company inventory system can be used by any mobile phone or tablet and is particularly useful in the food, beverage and hardware supplies sectors.
